Lake Pontchartrain Causeway

The Lake Pontchartrain Causeway was a tremendous engineering and construction achievement back in the mid-1950's, built mainly by people living in St. Tammany Parish. It was quite a business-booster for real estate companies as well.

Cars

People liked to take pictures of their cars and other vehicles in the early 20th Century. Here are a few of them from various St. Tammany Parish communities.
