Culinary Expertise as a Personal Talent

The Talent Bank was a weekly column I wrote in the mid-1980's. In this installment, I gave an overview of what seems to be one of the talents offered in many of St. Tammany's restaurants, that of chefs cooking good food, and then providing the perfect venue for enjoying it.

The article was published on May 16, 1985, some thirty-two years ago, just prior to the second annual Chef Soiree event held on behalf of the Youth Service Bureau.

Tonight, March 19, 2017, at the Covington Trailhead, the 33rd annual Chef Soiree will be held, testifying to St. Tammany's ongoing appreciation of good food cooked well and enjoyed among friends and festivities.
