Veterans Day 1983
The Covington-Abita Springs community takes Veterans Day ceremonies seriously. Here are some pictures from 35 years ago from the ceremony in front of the old parish courthouse, with flowers being placed on the War Memorial by members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion on November 11, 1983.
