Race On The Trace
Back in the old days, when driving along the roadways of St. Tammany Parish, every once in a while you would have to cross a railroad track. If there was a train passing by in front of you, then you would have to stop and wait for the train to clear the track before you could proceed.
Now that the old railroad track has been converted to the Tammany Trace jogging trail, sometimes the same thing happens, instead of railroad cars, however, it's hundreds of runners taking part in one of the many fun activities on the Trace.
