Landmark 50th year class reunions are being held this week, with hundreds of local graduates converging on west St. Tammany to take part.
It was 50 years ago, in 1973, that area high schools were graduating record-breaking numbers of students, and the local newspapers were sure to print all their names and awards. Here they are.

Mandeville High's 50th year Class Reunion held several get-togethers over the weekend, including this dinner at Covington Country Club.
They brought a lot of memorabilia (scrapbooks, jackets, school newspapers, etc.) to help bring back memories of those days.
