The Kaufmann Home
In the mid-1930's George Kauffman and his daughter Olga built a new home on Jahncke Avenue in Covington. Here is a newspaper article telling about the house and its owners. It's a story telling about how people came to St. Tammany to visit, but wound up wanting to live here.

ChefSoiree 2025
The 41st annual Chefsoiree was held by the Youth Service Bureau in Bogue Falaya Park in Covington Sunday afternoon, with thousands of people entering through the historic gates into the 13 acre park on the river. Scores of food and beverage booths served the crowds under a blue sky with breezy winds. Music from two bands provided the background, while dozens of restaurants offered their specialty dishes.

St. Patrick's Parade 2025
The Covington St. Patrick's Day Parade was held Sunday, March 16, 2025, starting on Columbia Street and winding its way along Gibson street to Lee Lane and Rutland Streets. Hosted by the Covington Celtic Club and sponsored by several community supporters, the seventh annual Celtic Club celebration attracted hundreds of spectators and Irish enthusiasts.
