Schoen Middle School Photo Album

In the 1990's members of the Schoen Middle School faculty documented many of the school's activities with photographs, a picture album of which was created by Susan McManus, the school's principal. 

Here are a number of photos from that picture album which was shared during the 2007 grand opening of the St. Tammany Parish School System's administrative headquarters, the C.J. Schoen Administrative Center.

 

 

In 1994 Schoen Middle School celebrated the 80th birthday of the building. Today that building is used by the School Board as an administrative center and the building is over 104 years old. 

Coaches Thanked By 1977 Football Players

A plaque from the senior class members of the 1977 Covington High School football squad thanked and expressed their appreciation to the coaching staff "for the many things you have taught us, not only about football, but more importantly about life."

Bogue Falaya River Postcards

Electric Vehicles Plug Into Abita Market

Several electric and hybrid vehicles visited the Abita Springs Trailhead this Sunday to take part in the weekly Sunday afternoon Farmers and Art Market. Hundreds of people attended, looking over the farm products, arts and crafts projects, and electric car showcase, along with enjoying the music and Abita Trailhead Museum.
