Abita Officials - 1912

In the May 14, 1912, issue of the Times Democrat Newspaper of New Orleans the following photograph was published, showing the newly-installed officers of Abita Springs. Click on the image to make it larger. 

The men were identified, from left to right, as Councilman Louis Darring, Councilman G.S. Strain, Treasurer Henry Strubbe, Mayor J.E. Glisson, Marshal A.J. Bennett (standing), Clerk A.O. Pons, Councilman Roert Mendow, Councilman John Destruel and Councilman Charles W. Schmidt.
