The Midtown Square Shopping Center is on Gause Blvd. in Slidell, and it has everything a person could ask for: food, wine, music, power tools, haircuts, and gold and jewelry. It's been around for many years.
Meanwhile, over on Fremaux Ave, the Fremaux Town Center shopping area offers quite a few shops with something for everyone. New to the area, Fremaux covers quite a bit of ground. Drawing the map took quite a bit of planning.
Of course, the original "shopping center" of Slidell was Olde Towne, or as it was called in the early days, "town," as in "I'm going to town."
And zooming in even further, there is the old "White Kitchen Shopping Center" on Front Street, which has been extensively renovated and populated with a variety of interesting stores, service parlors, and places to eat.
