In January of 1976, some 49 years ago, an intrepid team of athletes agreed to represent Covington on the popular "Almost Anything Goes" television program.
A variety of citizens signed up for the event, with famed Covington High School football coach Jack Salter serving as "Drill Instructor." Here are some photographs from back then naming who was involved.
