Horse Ranches and Training Facilities
Western St. Tammany Parish offers a number of excellent horse breeding and training facilities. I remember my first airplane flight across the parish, during which I pointed out to the pilot the large number of orange-colored ovals scattered across the landscape. "Those are horse race tracks," he said. I had no idea there were so many horse farms in St. Tammany.
