This photo shows the church when it was located on the south side of 23rd Avenue on Jefferson Avenue.
The location of Jefferson Ave. and 23rd Street is now the location of Fuhrmann Auditorium and Covington City Hall, since the city bought the old First Baptist Church complex when the church moved to its new location on La. 21 southwest of the city (and is expanding again.)
