Here are a few pictures of a sewerline repair construction job in Covington in 1980. Not very glamorous, but the reality of the situation is that cities are always maintaining, unclogging, and repairing sewerlines. All across America, sewer repairs are a constant challenge, and infrastructure replacement is a looming expense that no mayor or city council is looking forward to.
So here's a tribute to the engineers, supervisors, and heavy equipment operators that keep the sewers on line.
