502 North Columbia

The building at 502 North Columbia Street in Covington was built between 1921 and 1927 and started life at a funeral home business, called Schoen and Molloy Undertakers and Embalmers. According to the 2017 downtown historic district survey, it is built of concrete blocks, which are covered with stucco.

Later, it was a beauty college, Roberts School of Beauty, and then to the Suella Shop, and currently houses the Armbruster Artworks art school and gallery. In the back is the Lion's Den hair salon for men.
