Mail came in three days a week in Covington, once a week in Pearl River.
The New Camelia Announces The Summer Schedule
The new schedule was a source of complaint, given the inconvenience it caused people living in Covington trying to get to New Orleans. The schedule was more tuned to New Orleans people coming to Covington. It was causing delays in the mail delivery and other aggravations as well.
