Jill Renee Foxworth, a native of Covington and daughter of Norman Foxworth of Dependable Glass Company, passed away late Sunday evening September 12, 2021, at the age of 58 years.
According to the Fielding Funeral Home obituary information, she was born at St. Tammany Hospital in 1963 and was a member of First Baptist Church of Covington. She was a well-respected businesswoman both locally and throughout the southeast.
After graduating college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985, Jill began working alongside her father, where the two of them together grew Dependable Glass Works Inc. into one of the largest private manufacturing glass companies in southern United States.

For many years Jill was active in the downtown Covington business district and her success led to her being chosen to participate and contribute in business leader projects by the State of Louisiana.
She lived life to the fullest, whether that involved her traveling numerous times to Canada to fish, traveling to Africa to climb and successfully summit Mount Kilimanjaro in 2009 and Mount Machu Picchu in 2012. She frequently biked the Abita trail and was an active artist working with clay, creating one of a kind pottery and also designing, creating and selling handmade leather purses.
Her passing was noted in the National Glass Association's member publication Glass Magazine.
