Comic books, costumed characters, action figures and movie posters were the order of the day at the St. Tammany Collectors Convention held at Castine Center (Pelican Park) east of Mandeville Saturday. Hundreds of people turned out for the large scale event, and children of all ages enjoyed meeting their favorite artists, actors, and fantasy/adventure video vendors.
The STCC started in 2016 and has grown significantly over the years, bringing together scores of fans with the items they want, many of those souvenir items tied to favorite movies and video games.
