In 1986 a Catholic Church mission in Bush, LA, opened its new building, a geodesic dome. It had been a vision by the Priest Rev. Francis Sander, pastor of the St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church in Abita Springs. Here are some photographs of the unique structure and news articles printed at the time.
