I would sometimes take pictures during these interviews, and I wish I still had those pictures and copies of those columns. It represented a great cross section of Covington's best known artists as well as up and coming artists.
At the time, she was giving seminars on art history and teaching art lessons to children as well as adults, so I wrote an article about her artistic endeavors. The Covington Daily News articles gave her an opportunity to share her thoughts about public perception and appreciation of art.

At one time, her art studio was next door to the writing studio of famed novelist Walker Percy, at the back of the St. Tammany Art Association building on New Hampshire St. in Covington.
