Folsom Postmasters

Here's a photo from 113 years ago of Paul Verger, the postmaster of Folsom. Click on the image to make it larger.

In the 1980’s, the Folsom post office won several awards. From left to right in the above photograph are Evelyn Baham, Vera “Pete” Pittman, Postmaster Dale Goff and Arlene Rainey Willie. Goff served as the Folsom postmaster for 13 years and then another 17 years as postmaster in Covington. He went on to become national president of the National Association of Postmasters of the United States from 2006 to 2009, a group with 40,000 members.
