NorthShore Strings Give Christwood Concert

The NorthShore Strings Chamber Orchestra performed several favorite musical selections at the Christwood Retirement Community Sunday night. Director Annie Young-Bridges conducted and played violin with solos by special guests and ensembles also being presented. 

Music included "The Pink Panther," the theme from "Halo," and "Concerto for Strings in DMajor." In addition to classical selections, there were also several Celtic tunes, as well as Swallowtail Jig, Cripple Creek, Old Joe Clark and The Ashgrove.
