Mardi Gras Pageantry in 1911

In 1911 plans were made for a spectacular Mardi Gras parade through Covington called the Pageant of St. Tammany. Here is a printed poster from the parade, showing the elaborate designs (for that day and time) of the various floats. Click on the images to make them larger. 

The pictures of floats 4 through 6 were severely damaged.
