Arbor Day

Arbor Day is important event in St. Tammany Parish each year. It calls for the planting of even more trees than there are already here. Here are some pictures from Arbor Day ceremonies in the mid-1990's, over 20 years ago. These trees helped replenish the large number of trees that would be taken by Hurricane Katrina ten years later.
