The annual Spring Blessing of the Quilts features a colorful, spectacular display of quilts, throws, pillows and dresses all handmade by the group. The quilts are given away to individuals and non-profit organizations which will distribute them where they are needed the most.
Those agencies include the Northlake Crisis Pregnancy Center, the Samaritan Center, St. Tammany Neo-Natal Department, St. Tammany Hospice, St. Joseph Hospice, Legacy Hospice, Peace Lutheran Quilters, Lakeview Regional Hospital, Methodist Boys Home, Thrivent Grief Quilts, Mwana Mission, Fund Raisers, as well as family emergencies caused by fire, medical, and other difficult situations.
