The Covington Centaur Mystery
Every place has its weirdnesses. Forty-six years ago, back in 1972, the Covington area had its share when people reported seeing a centaur-like creature.
After checking into the rumor, I wrote the following article. Sorry, no pictures of the creature are available. Click on the image to make it larger.
And while we are on the topic of weird things, the Covington area had its own UFO study group in the mid-1990's. Speakers were brought in monthly to discuss things like crop circles, the Gulf Breeze (FL) sightings, and other unidentified aerial phenomena.
