Used Book Sale Held

The Friends of the Library group held a used book sale Saturday, December 12, at their new location at 1301 Florida Street, in the back of the parish fairgrounds in Covington. A wide variety of books were available at good prices.

Here are some photographs of the new book sale location and the stacks of books, CD's, DVD's, audio books, etc. Click on the images to make them larger.

The Friends of the Library used to hold their book sales at Hadden Hall on Jahncke Avenue in Covington, but that building was torn down, so now the operation has been moved to the parish fairgrounds area.

The first book fair held by the Friends of the Library organization in Covington was held on May 20 and 21, 1977, in the Bogue Falaya Mall.
