The St. Tammany Regional Heart Center
The building was located in the area formerly occupied by the Tchefuncte Square Medical Mall, which had a central hallway lined with doctor's offices on both sides and a drug store in the front corner. It was across the side street from Beef N Bun Hamburger place and a medical supply store. The site is now the location of the three-story Mary Byrd Perkins Cancer Center.
Later, a Louisiana Heart Center was operating in Lacombe.
