Junior High History Walk

The annual Pitcher Junior High History Class walk through downtown Covington took place Thursday, with dozens of young people touring the town on foot, hearing community leaders give presentations about the history of the community, its stores, its landmarks and even its older neighborhoods. This year even included a visit to Covington City Cemetery No. 1, where many early settlers buried their loved ones. Here are a few pictures of the group as it heads down Vermont Street, waving to local residents.
