Burns Family Portrait - 1963

On July 4, 1963, in the midst of the Covington Sesquicentennial Celebration, the Burns Family Union decided to gather on the porch at 317 North Columbia Street and have their picture taken by noted Covington photographer Art Lemane

Eighty-two Burns family members from throughout the area gathered at the home of Miss Hester Burns in front of which the Sesquicentennial Parade would pass by.

In 1972, the group met at Chubby Hill

Thirty nine years earlier, another group portrait had been taken at the Burns Family Cemetery on Chubby Hill. They all met there every October for Decoration Day. Here's a picture taken in 1933.
