Covington Years Ago
In 1912, some 105 years ago, the following article written by J. M. Tate appeared in the St. Tammany Farmer. Its title was "Covington Years Ago." So taking into consideration that it was published "years ago" and it tells a tale from years ago before that, it should be pretty interesting. From the text, the memories appear to be from the 1850's. Click on the image to make it larger.
