The group photograph below shows Covington area Schoen family members and school board members at the 1987 dedication of renovated C. J .Schoen Middle School, now the school system central office, located on Jefferson Avenue in Covington, La.
The School was originally built as the high school in 1913, and after extensive renovations in the 1980's became a middle school named after Cyprian J. Schoen, Superintendent of Schools for the St. Tammany Parish Public School System from 1967 to 1986.
