This photograph of a Honey Island Swamp Scene was taken by Percy Viosca, Jr. in 1933. Viosca traveled throughout south Louisiana taking pictures of wildlife and plantlife. He especially liked St. Tammany Parish. This picture shows a small boat named Amoeba tied up to bank with two people aboard. Bayou with cypress in background and pirogue tied to shanty boat behind small boat.
