Finding old postcards of Mandeville in Mandeville is difficult because most all the postcards were mailed to friends and relatives in other places across the United States. There are probably more postcards showing Mandeville scenes currently located in places far away from the town.
The old postcards that survived locally were the ones that were mailed, then brought back to town by the recipients. There were also postcard collectors, however, that had postcard albums where they kept their treasured pictures of interesting places, both local and around the world.
