The Firehouse Events Center in downtown Covington is abuzz with activity today as comic books, collectibles, and a variety of unique toys are on display and on sale. There was a food truck as well. The event is bi-monthy, with the address being 423 N. Theard Street, just north of Lockwood. The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, the big comic book collectors confab will be held at the Castine Center in Mandeville on October 9, 2021 (if Cov19 allows). The April comic collectors event was cancelled and rescheduled for October. For more information, you can visit www.sttammanycollectorscon.com
According to their website, St Tammany Collectors Con is the only event of its kind on the North Shore. There attendees will find toys, comics, records, video games, pop culture, local artists and more. The first annual event was held in 2016.
