The Rutland New Hampshire Corner

More than 100 years ago there was a bank and hotel on the southeast corner of Rutland St. and North New Hampshire Street in Covington. This is what it looked like.

This is the same corner in 1977, when the traffic signal was still in operation.

For many years, a small white house occupied the corner, which had many large oak trees gracing its front yard.

A new two-story house is now being built on the corner, overlooking the oak trees.
