In 1938-1939 Louisiana state wildlife experts surveyed plants, animals and fish along the upper stretches of the Bogue Falaya River, up into the Little Bogue Falaya at Ramsay. They found several aspects of the river that raised much interest. Here are some of the pictures they took during the late 1930's and up to the 1950's.
