Madisonville From the Air

Here are a few aerial photographs of Madisonville from the 1970's and even one from 1955. Click on the images to make them larger.



In the above photograph, the Riverboat Tchefuncte Restaurant is seen at the very bottom of the photo.


In the above photograph, the old two story town hall is visible one third way up to the left. 


In the above photo the new one story town hall is under construction, and the area next to the boat launch is being used as a shell storage area.


In the photograph above, the view looking south towards the lake has the shipyard in the lower left.
